Ronald McDonald House Temple and the Medical Community

To improve the health and well-being of children coming to the Temple area for medical care, Ronald McDonald House Temple relies on strong partnerships with the medical community — relationships that have been nurtured and have grown since 1986.

Because of this, we can meet the health-care needs of children and families through our Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room, supporting families while their children are cared for in our local medical facilities.

How Our Medical Community Helps

Our medical community supports Ronald McDonald House Temple in a variety of ways:

  • Serving actively as members of the Ronald McDonald House Temple Board of Trustees.
  • Providing space within Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Hospital for our Ronald McDonald Family Room.
  • Assisting with operating costs and the donation of in-kind services.
  • Volunteering their time and services with House programs.

It’s this kind of critical support that allows us to expand our program capacity — and together, we are helping to change children’s lives around the world.

Make a Difference for Families & Children

Parents don’t know when their children will need medical help. But they should know they can always access the care they need. And with your help, we can support them all throughout their journey.
