Ronald McDonald House
Ronald McDonald House is more than a place to physically stay; it’s a place to stay supported, connected, and cared for.
Ronald McDonald House is more than a place to physically stay; it’s a place to stay supported, connected, and cared for.
We provide lodging and support services for families whose children are receiving medical care at local hospitals and healthcare facilities. Most families come from out of town, and our goal is to help them maintain a sense of normalcy during their stay — cooking their own meals, doing laundry, and spending time together while connecting with others facing similar challenges.
Our House includes 18 bedrooms, each with either twin or queen beds and a private bathroom. Rooms vary in size to accommodate different family needs and come fully stocked with bedding and towels. Many rooms include pull-out beds, and roll-away beds are available. If you need personal toiletry items, please ask a staff member — we keep a small supply on hand for guests.
Each family has a private bedroom, with private connected bathroom, for the duration of their stay.
Two kitchens with stocked pantries; volunteer groups frequently prepare meals.
Five washers and five dryers, detergent provided.
Staff are always on-site to help with whatever you need.
We offer a large laundry area with five washers and five dryers, along with complimentary detergent for your personal laundry and linens. Two community pantries, stocked through donations, are available for family use — perishable items such as milk, eggs, and juice are often available as well.
Volunteer groups frequently prepare meals, and snacks are always accessible. Check the bulletin board or kitchen signs for upcoming meal times. Wi-Fi is available throughout the House. Baylor Scott & White provides transportation during the week and we provide transportation on the weekends, so families can always be together.
Giving back to our community. Our community conference room is a space dedicated to fostering collaboration and community engagement. We invite local organizations to utilize our conference room, providing a professional setting for meetings, workshops, or gatherings.
Our conference room has been named in honor of Mrs. Susan Cloud Bolton and her 30 years of service to the Ronald McDonald House of Temple. To reserve the space, reach out to Evelyn Balli, our Director of House Operations, at [email protected].
